The official web page for the 2010 National Cadet Counsellor's Convention is UP!

The next 2010 Cadet Convention Committee Meeting will be held on Aug 22 at 3pm, at Bernie & Carol Gabrielse's home.

The council thanks the counselors of the First URC of Chino for hosting the April 16th Southern CA Council meeting. The Bible lesson and workshop were very challenging and beneficial (and the snacks were awesome!); nice fire ring as well. Here are the Minutes, and here is the Treasurer's Report.

The Camporee Certification course that was scheduled for Saturday May 2nd has been canceled. We'll try again in 2010.

The 2009 Southern California Council Field Day will be held at December 5th at Valley Christian High School.

The 2010 Southern CA Council Pinewood Derby will be hosted by Bellflower One CRC on Saturday, March 27th, 2010.

Our next regularly schedule council meeting will be held on September 15th (Tuesday) at Long Beach CRC at 7:00pm. This is a special meeting because we will be visited by Dick Broene, Director of Cadets from Grand Rapids, MI. Please make every effort to attend.
